Lo-fi YTH

WHEN & WHERE WE MEET:  We meet on Thursday nights at 6:30pm-8:30pm in the High School Room in the Student Building!
MISSION: How we go about that vision is through the mission of CWC: We do Life Together! (discipleship) and To know Christ and to make Christ known! (love God, love people, the rest are details!) (Matthew 22: 36-40)
VISION: On a deeper level than just this generation's popular music genre for studying, vibing, and relaxing, "lofi" stands for "low fidelity" music, where this genre of music makes audible the imperfections of a song/production and vocalizes/emphasizes it as an aesthetic choice.

In relation to the genre of music, our vision for CWC high school ministry "Lofi YTH," is to be a safe place/culture where high schoolers can choose and be vocal; to be vulnerable, honest, and transparent with God, their leaders, and one another about the imperfections (successes or struggles) and brokeness (humanity) they all face as young people in this day and age; and in that safe place, to know that everyone will be received and prayed for in the abounding grace and unconditional love that Jesus gives to all of us. (James 5:13-18)

WHEN & WHERE WE MEET: We meet on Saturdays at 6:00pm & Sundays at 10:00am in the Jr. High room in the Student Building.

WHAT WE TEACH: Here at CWC YTH we want to teach our students what it means to glorify God through our relationships with others and with Christ. Glorifying God should be our first priority in all things and is one of the driving messages that we speak at CWC YTH.
VISION: Bridge middle school, Middle school is perhaps the most important age for a person, this is where we develop our own worldviews and figure out what they believe in the most. Middle school is much less a gap between elementary and high school or a gap before life can begin but rather a bridge into adulthood and your overall future.

Our goal is to be intentional, relational and rooted in the Word of God. We will strive to achieve an intimate community that is on fire for Jesus and has a deep love for the Word of God and worship. community brings unity. We want to be unified as one just as Jesus prayed we would in John 17:20-23, creating a loving, “at home” atmosphere that does not judge but rather points, tells the truth and leads out of a heart of love.  By pointing them to the word of God and affirm who they are in Christ. If they have a relationship with Jesus, we will affirm and encourage them to grow in the calling of which Christ gives us. If not, we always guide them towards the truth, in love, so that they may encounter Jesus.
