Senior Adult Ministry

At Calvary Worship Center, our special fellowship opportunity for “senior saints” is called BOLD, which stands for “Beyond-Ordinary-Living-Disciples.”

Here are our three main purposes for this ministry:

  • Bringing people into a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Coming alongside one another to help meet physical, emotional, and social needs
  • Encouraging and assisting each other in ministering to others, including discipling younger generations

We meet the second and fourth Mondays of each month (adjusted for holidays) from 10 am to noon in the Fellowship Hall (the same building as Pneuma Coffee).

We are inspired by and encourage one another on toward fulfillment of 2 Timothy 4:7, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

"We moved to Colorado Springs in August of 2017 and God led us to CWC the second Sunday we were in town.  We lived in the Seattle area for almost 30 years, so the hardest part about leaving was having to say goodbye to our church family.  But then we met Pastor Neil and Robin Krause and found out about BOLD.  In a big church it can be difficult to meet people, but the Krauses and the wonderful, warm people in BOLD welcomed us and made us feel loved and like we were part of their family.  We are so thankful for our new church family at CWC, and for our new 'family within the family' at BOLD."
