In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus gave us the Great Commission... GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES! As a church, we need to be intentional in our communication and practices as we seek to fulfill His calling. We understand that this is difficult in a large church setting, so we sought the Lord for a simple process to help you get involved and grow as His disciple and as a member of CWC. This is what we call... the D.N.A. Process.

It's easy to begin serving at CWC!

Step 1 - Go to our Discover Class

Step 2 - Attend our Navigate Class

Step 3 - Meet with a Leader...and get Activated!

STEP 1

D - DISCOVER

(A 60 min. class held each 2nd Sunday of the month at 1:45pm)

Goal: Presenting "The Story" about our community

- Who we are : Past, Present and Future

- What we are : Share our Mission Statement and Culture - Values

- What to expect from us? (Answer all questions)

- What's Next : Login to the CORE

STEP 2

N - NAVIGATE

(A 45 min. class held each Sunday on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 1:45pm)

Goal: Finding your purpose in our community

- Explain Servanthood (Faith : Faithful | Available | Initiative | Teachable | Heart)

- Examine Opportunities (Examine Ministry Service Op Sheet)

- Encourage 6-month commitment

STEP 3

A - ACTIVATE

(A 45 min. meeting with overseer of chosen ministry)

Activate Meeting Overseer: Varies (determined by volunteer ministry selection)

Goal: Becoming an active participant in our community

- Get Connected (With ministry overseer. Are you qualified? Is it a good fit?)

-Get Trained (Review Ministry Job Description and Five On-Boarding Steps)

- Get Going (Placement | Schedule)
