What Is Biblical Counseling?
Biblical counselling is based upon the Word of God. It addresses the complexity of life issues within the context of Scripture. This counseling concentrates on matters of the heart—our thoughts, attitudes, motives, actions and speech, indicating genuine and lasting change occurs as the result of the working of the Holy Spirit in one’s heart (Ephesians 3:16-19).
What We Believe:
We hold fast to the inerrancy of Scripture. We believe that the Bible, Old and New Testament are the inspired, infallible Word of God; therefore, we do not integrate human secular psychology and philosophy with the Word of God. "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16, 17 NKJV) Therefore, our Biblical Counseling in Colorado Springs offers the hope found in the Word of God to individuals who struggle with sin and suffering. Change is an issue of the heart and the work of the Holy Spirit.
"Biblical Counseling has given me direction and focus. Instead of being all over the place I know where to turn and I am much more consistent. I feel I can handle life better."
-K.B.
"God opened this door of opportunity to equip me in ministry per his call and purpose for my life. I am thankful to my fellow counselors for pouring into my life when I needed it this season of my life."
-Mary

A Word from Our Director:
“What happens to you matters to me.” That’s a key takeaway from Jesus’ parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37). It’s also the heart of CWC’s Biblical Counselling and Discipleship ministry.
Loving “neighbors” doesn’t mean “passing by on the other side” when people’s lives and/or hearts are broken. It means coming alongside—being there, showing care, giving hope. If you’re experiencing brokenness, we’re here for you.
It’s said that "Jesus walked around in a body—and He still does." We are His hands and feet. In light of His parable of the Good Samaritan, may we more and more each day learn to live and love like Jesus, reflecting to all, “What happens to you matters to me!”
