• The Scriptures remind us to "pray without ceasing" (I Thessalonians 5:17), “to give all things to God in prayer" (Philippians 4:6), “to devote ourselves to prayer” (Colossians 4:2), and that “all supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men” (1 Timothy 2:1).



  • At Calvary Worship Center, we believe fervent, heart-felt prayer is key to leading people to Christ and essential to what we do as a Church. We believe we would not have seen lives changed or experienced supernatural growth without the ministry of prayer.

    Allow God to use you in one of the following areas

    Prayer Team 

    Midweek Prayer Team- Evening Service: (Wednesday)
    Weekend Prayer Team- Weekend Services: (Saturday and Sunday)


  • The Midweek and Weekend Prayer Team leads and models this vital aspect of Calvary Worship Center as they stand in the gap for this body of Christ. This group prays within a small team in the Prayer Room during all of our weekend services. The main focus is on prayer covering for the congregation and pastoral staff, as well as providing prayer and decision follow-up for people who request prayer and/or make a decision regarding; salvation, rededication, or assurance of salvation.

  • Prayer Chain Team- (Email)

    The Prayer Chain Team intercedes weekly for prayer requests submitted online or by phone and for any special prayer needs of Calvary Worship Center. Each day you will receive a list of prayer requests to pray for via email. 

    Weekday Prayer Team- (Thursday Afternoon) 

    The Weekday Prayer Team is comprised of women. Their main focus is to prayer for the body of Calvary Worship Center, covering all aspects of ministry, to include the staff and pastoral staff.

  • Just come to our prayer room. Pastors and Prayer Counselors  are always available to pray with you after any of our services, or you can call the office to request a pastor to pray for you.
